Hyperbaric Chambers

Hyperbaric therapy places the body in an environment held above normal atmospheric pressure. InfraCore carries mild soft-shell chambers — commonly around 1.3–1.5 ATA, pressurized with ambient air. That is a different category of equipment from the 2.0–3.0 ATA hard-shell chambers used in hospital and physician-directed treatment.

The distinction matters when you are reading about hyperbaric therapy, because most of the clinical research cited for it was conducted on clinical chambers and specific cleared indications. Beyond those established uses, hyperbaric therapy is an active area of research.
