Federal law requires hyperbaric chambers to be sold by or on the order of a licensed physician. A copy of your prescription must be provided prior to order fulfillment. Contact us with questions — we make this simple.
The shortest path into mild hyperbaric. Same therapy, smaller footprint.
The Shallow Dive is the entry point into Summit to Sea's lineup — and at $7,995, it's the most accessible way to bring FDA-cleared mild hyperbaric into a home. A 26-inch interior is the right shape for tight bedrooms, home offices, or a corner of a wellness room. Dual oil-less compressors with patented sound suppression keep things quiet, and the chamber runs on a standard household outlet — no electrician, no permits.
For those of us whose harder-living years left a mark — old injuries, slow recoveries, mobility we'd like to keep — this is the easiest way to start. Same 1.3 ATA mild hyperbaric protocol used by the larger chambers, in a footprint and price point that make daily use realistic.
Who this is for
- First-time HBOT buyers who want to start without a $20K commitment.
- Single users with limited floor space — tight bedrooms, home offices, RV setups.
- Athletes and biohackers building HBOT into a recovery routine.
- Adults in post-surgical or post-concussion recovery, with their provider's guidance.
- Anyone whose harder-living years are catching up and who'd rather not negotiate their next twenty-five for them.
Who it's not for
- Larger-frame users who'd prefer more shoulder and elbow room — see the Dive (33" interior) or Grand Dive (40").
- Households with two regular users who want shared sessions — see the Grand Dive.
- Clinical or rehab use needing stretcher / wheelchair / gurney access — see the Grand Dive Pro or Pro Plus.
- Anyone who can't or won't obtain a physician's prescription.
What you get
- An FDA 510(k)-cleared Class II medical device, manufactured in the USA by Summit to Sea (30+ years building hyperbaric chambers).
- A 26-inch interior diameter and 84-inch length — sized for single-user mild HBOT in compact spaces.
- Dual oil-less compressors with Summit to Sea's patented sound-suppression housing — quiet enough for a bedroom install.
- Dual blue pressure-relief valves and a yellow backup safety valve, with a failed-circuit alarm.
- Double-sided full-length zippers, operable from inside and outside, with silicone lubrication included.
- A standard 120V 15-amp outlet — no special wiring, no electrician, no permits in standard residential setups.
- 7-day-a-week customer support through InfraCore's concierge line, routed directly to Summit to Sea's US technical team.
- The same 1.3 ATA mild HBOT protocol used by every other Summit to Sea chamber — no compromise on the therapy itself.

How it compares
The Shallow Dive is our pick as the entry-level home chamber — the lowest barrier into FDA-cleared mild hyperbaric without giving up the things that matter. Here's how to think about it alongside the rest of the lineup:
vs. Dive — The Dive widens the interior by seven inches (26" → 33") for $2,000 more. If your sessions will be daily and long-term, the extra shoulder and elbow room is worth it for most users. The Shallow Dive is the better choice if budget or footprint is the binding constraint.
vs. Grand Dive — The Grand Dive opens to a 40" interior and supports 2–3 people for shared sessions. Choose the Grand Dive if two adults in the same household will use it together. The Shallow Dive is the better single-user pick.
vs. clinical HBOT (hospital) — Hospital hyperbaric runs at 2.0–2.4 ATA for acute medical conditions under trained staff supervision. The Shallow Dive operates at 1.3 ATA — the FDA-cleared soft-chamber range for daily at-home use.
vs. clinic HBOT (commercial wellness) — Commercial HBOT clinics charge $150–$250 a session. At three sessions a week, the Shallow Dive pays itself back in roughly 8–12 months. After that, every session is essentially free.
Your protection & logistics
Warranty
Your chamber is covered by Summit to Sea's manufacturer warranty per their Standard Terms & Conditions of Sale, in lieu of all other warranties. Extended 1, 2, and 3-year warranty options are available at the model-specific tier prices listed by Summit to Sea — your Wellness Concierge will quote the exact figure for your chamber when you order. All FDA-cleared chambers, manufactured in the United States.
Shipping & lead time
Summit to Sea ships from their US facility to the 48 contiguous states. Shipping is quoted per chamber model — your Wellness Concierge confirms the exact freight cost (typical range: $275 for Shallow Dive up to $700 for Grand Dive Pro with Platform) before payment is finalized. White-glove delivery coordination is included.
Installation
Self-install with full setup documentation. Every Summit to Sea chamber ships with operator instructions, and your Wellness Concierge schedules a 30-minute setup call to walk through first-use safety, oxygen-concentrator pairing, and session protocol. On-site installation services can be arranged on request.
Returns
All chambers are priced at the retail rate published by Summit to Sea — no discounts apply by manufacturer policy. Because every unit is configured for the buyer's intended use and the chamber ships from STS direct, sales are final once production begins. If a chamber arrives damaged or with a manufacturer defect, the STS warranty handles replacement and we manage the claim.

Frequently asked questions
Do I really need a prescription?
Yes — hyperbaric chambers are FDA-cleared Class II medical devices, and federal law requires a physician's prescription. We've made this easy: send us a prescription from your primary care, sports-medicine, or functional-medicine provider, and we coordinate the rest. Most clients have one in hand within a week.
What does "mild hyperbaric" mean, and what is it good for?
Summit to Sea chambers operate at 1.3 ATA (4.4 PSI) — the soft-chamber range FDA-cleared for home use. That's different from the 2.0–2.4 ATA hospital HBOT used for acute medical emergencies. Mild HBOT is what athletes, biohackers, and longevity-focused users build into their week for recovery, sleep quality, post-surgical healing, post-concussion support, and general resilience.
How does owning compare to clinic HBOT visits?
Clinic HBOT runs $150–$250 per session, typically 60–90 minutes plus travel and scheduling. At three sessions a week, you're at $23K–$39K a year — and you're still on someone else's calendar. The Shallow Dive pays itself back in roughly 8–12 months at that cadence, and most home users do more sessions because access is frictionless.
How does it compare to a hospital hyperbaric chamber?
Different tool, different job. Hospital chambers are hard-shell, pressurized to 2.0–2.4 ATA, run by trained staff, and used for acute conditions (carbon-monoxide poisoning, decompression sickness, non-healing wounds). Summit to Sea chambers are FDA-cleared for the soft-chamber 1.3 ATA range — the therapeutic window appropriate for daily at-home and clinical wellness use without medical staff present.
How loud is it?
Summit to Sea uses oil-less compressors with patented sound-suppression housing. Operating volume is comparable to a quiet dishwasher (~50 dB at six feet). Most clients run sessions in a dedicated wellness room, but bedroom installs are common — you can sleep next to it.
How long does each session actually take?
Plan on 75–105 minutes door-to-door for a 60-minute therapy session: 5–10 minutes to pressurize, 60 minutes at depth, 5–10 minutes to depressurize, plus a few minutes to set up and break down. Easy to fit into a morning routine, evening wind-down, or a working session — you can read, work on a laptop, or sleep inside.
How long does delivery and setup take?
Standard delivery to the continental US is 2–4 weeks from order — Summit to Sea builds each chamber to order in their US facility. First-time setup runs about 60 minutes (frame and compressors); after that, breakdown and re-setup runs around 15 minutes. Our concierge team coordinates everything; if you'd like white-glove setup assistance, just ask.
What's the warranty?
Two full years on parts, labor, zippers, windows, seams, valves, and hoses — well above the 1-year industry norm. Extended warranties are available for purchase at any time during the original warranty period. All service routes through Summit to Sea's US technical team via our concierge line — one point of contact.
From the founder
I built InfraCore because I needed it.
Two devastating knee injuries and multiple ankle injuries before I left high school gave me twenty-five years of compounding consequences — chronic pain, multiple surgeries, mobility I was working hard to keep. The clinic visits worked. They just didn't fit a real life.
If you've been curious about hyperbaric but haven't been ready to commit five figures, the Shallow Dive is the right starting point. Same FDA-cleared therapy, same Made-in-USA build, same 2-year warranty as the chambers twice its price — just in a more accessible footprint.
