The Luna Red IR+FIR Blanket is a passive recovery textile — no LEDs, no heating element, no cord, no battery, no EMF. The blanket does not emit light or heat; instead, it uses charcoalized bamboo particles permanently suspended in the yarn to reflect your body's own infrared emissions back toward the skin, with proprietary volcanic minerals printed on the reverse for far-infrared reflection.
Important framing: Some products marketed as "infrared blankets" are powered heating devices that plug in and warm the user externally. The Luna Red is not that — it is a completely passive fleece textile. Don't expect it to feel electrically warm; expect it to feel like a very comfortable double-sided plush throw that becomes noticeably restful over time.
